Utah to Arizona

Wow, is all I can say about today. It was a beautiful sunny day, 26 degrees, back to shorts and T shirts weather. We spent the morning driving through the Arches National Park, just outside of Moab, and then travelled down to Monument Valley in the south east corner of the state. Every cowboy and Indian movie ever made was probably filmed in Monument Valley. John Wayne’s legend is alive and well here !! The landscape was amazing, giant red boulders balancing on other boulders, sheer cliffs, red dirt and grassy treeless plains. Drove over the border into Arizona and got to Flagstaff for the night, approximately 520kms.
