Niagara Falls

Our last stopover of this little sojourn to the US is Niagara Falls where we stayed for 2 nights. After dropping off our hire car we caught a bus to travel across the border to the city of Niagara Falls. The immigration officers were very casual and didn’t even look at the boys or I to check if we matched our passports ! Not like entering the US where we are finger printed and eyeballs photographed ! The part of the city where we are staying is quite quirky. It has buildings built on their side, an upside down house, mazes, a ‘Ripleys Believe it or Not’, a Guiness World Records museum, a couple of Haunted Houses and a Water Park, so plenty to see and do. However as we have been on the road for a month, we are a bit ‘toured’ out for now and the ‘novelty’ of sharing 2 double beds in one room has worn off, so we are looking forward to returning to the slower pace of life in Saskatchewan !

Oh, and yes the actual Niagara Falls were only a short walk from our hotel and were spectacular !

I bet the visit to Niagara was a welcome one given the heat you’ve had over the past few weeks in the states. It looks like a pretty awesome sight!

We’re enjoying your trip without the heat! Happy Birthday Campbell. We found Niagara very commercial, tho spectacular. Mer/Brian.
