Canada Day

Today was Canada Day with Canada turning 145. John was working so the boys and I went into Humboldt to join in the celebrations. We started off by participating in a 5km fun run (after singing the national anthem at the start line – well we didn’t of course), we then had a pancake breakfast at the park where there was entertainment all day. There was a magic show where Campbell was selected to go on stage and be the magicians assistant ! The day started quite warm and very muggy and we did have a thunder storm in the afternoon so we left about 4.00pm before the official cake cutting and speeches. We headed home for a rest and had to wait up till 10.30pm to see the fireworks in St Brieux. Lots of people had there own fireworks as you can buy them anywhere, even gas stations and 7/11’s !

Hi there cousin John and family. Great to see you are making the most of your sojourn to Canada! What fun! Love the BIG Moose and Dad loves the bit about everyone falling over when there’s no wind…. So pleased another country gets into their BIG animals. Is there a big merino over there too?

Love Fiona, Brian and rest of the Suzuki Webster clan.
